border audio is a project by a composer and producer called william jacobs. that's me! border audio instruments are all about novel and characterful approaches to recording and performance - swapping out flavourless expensive gear and sterile studio spaces for choices that have a bit more personality: things like contact microphones and cassette tapes, as well as a whole lot of love. it is called "border audio" because these tools go beyond the creative borders of traditional software instruments. it is also called "border audio" because i like border collies a lot.
